Oh, this is austere and poignant like a Hemingway novel. I am liking this much better than Dawn (not that there is anything wrong with it), but this style suits my reading fancy much, much better.

Author's Response: Thanks! The austere thing isn't my style unless it's a dialogue scene, because dialogue needs to be able to stand on its own. Reading Hemingway taught me that. :-)
