I'm going to give some constructive criticism here.This is a really good story idea, but you should send it to a beta who can help you with writing it. I found this first chapter a bit distracting in that you kept say 'Penelope', 'Penelope'. It wasn't necessary to use her name so much. use 'she' and 'her' sometimes.
